Uraeus and Heka had awoken at the break of dawn. Turning to face Heka, she asked "What will we be learning today?"
Heka picked up a pebble in his beak and handed it to Uraeus, who held it with both palms. "First let us practice a basic spell...You might want to try the levitation spell. It would take very little magic to lift a very small object, but to lift larger objects requires stronger magic and more concentration. Just focus on the pebble, imagine it floating in midair, and say the word float in runic." Heka instructed.

Uraeus stared at the image on the pendant, trying to etch the appearance of the jungle waterfall in her memory. "Heka, do you know this place?" Uraeus asked.
"Of course, that waterfall is in a rain forest known as 'Kuyana jungle.' It is to the region southwest of this city. For a human, it would be a twenty day journey by foot, and ten days by beast, and the fastest beast would be a hippogrpyh or a miniroc." Heka began.
"Hippogryph? Miniroc?" Uraeus asked.
"They are beasts that the wingless natives of this world. like lycanthropes and garudas use as transportation." Heka

Krystal stepped out of the chamber and stood in awe at the sight before her. She was standing on a wide, white marble walkway over a large pond, leading to a white marble, domed structure lined with turquoise. On top of the dome was a majestic bronze statue of a winged dinosaur. The walkway Krystal was standing on was lined with slate statues of winged dinosaurs like the one on the top of the fortress and Kwanzan flowering cherry trees.
